You can wash most things with water, if i'm concerned about corrosion I do it on a sunny day and lay the part in the sun for a few hours. The heat and warm air circulating has never failed to remove...
I always let them fly if they want. A short story, I had my 4 year old grandson up for his second flight, he loves it. I asked if he wanted to fly, he said ok. He took over, sitting in his car seat...
I have the first model from Spencer (had it three years now) and find it quiet comfortable and small enough to pack in the turtle deck of my Smith Mini Plane.
I have been reading about an outbreak of bed bugs in SE WI.
While I'm not sure were we will end up our chapter (475) has forgone Young Eagle flights for the time being. One of our pilots is the pilot that flew the one millionth eagle, he is still flying them...
My vote is for more unusual or unique aircraft on fly by or real aerobatics not the wham bam thank you mam stuff. I get so tire of the flip flop, one is ok but 4 or more everyday gets to be a drag! ...
Get someone with a high wing to go along, go in as a flight of two and park together. We usually have 5 to 7 planes and at least one is a high wing. He parks closest to the flight line and we all...
Today I received a yellow post card from, supposedly, the IAC wanting a call back. So I called tonight. What I got a sales pitch for a hundred dollar book of, I guess, old competitors. And this...
Ron is right on. I can remember my uncles kidding me about taking care of them as they grew older. However, in reality two of those uncles were Marine's in the south pacific at all the now famous...
Ditto Bill, really enjoyed the Valdez flyers at the ultra light field. No real complaints except having to spend hours in the rain Fri. due to getting kicked out of our camp site, but that is...
Try camping down by the south 40. the Tall Pines café is not open Sunday at all. This year though not so disappointing as I found the tent café by the Vintage barn had much better food, a lot more...
Having replied earlier and stating I was against the pull back of the flight line, I am here to give you our experience. We moved out of our camp site at 1:28pm Friday. No problem, we had earlier...
As one of several people, 15 to 20 and planes, 7 to 10, that fly in as a group Thursday or Friday before the show so we can camp together on the burn line down beyond the speakers I will say we are...
Sorry Mac but I couldn't agree more. I know Paul's mind was to include everyone, and I agree to a point. Having been a member since the 60's I am considered old foggy I know, but I have been seeing...
Love the show as always, no major gripes but some deficiencies, in my opinion. 1. We always camp on the flight line, about row 92 to get away from the loud speakers so the blue line is our home...
Here at my hometown in IL. we have been doing the single stream recycle for years, works just fine in my estimation. L
Funny, we park south down by row 90 just to get away from the speakers! Too much noise and you can't hear them during the airshow anyway! After 7 or 8 days of listening to them blasting it is too...
As I have stated on another thread, we bring 3 to 5 aircraft, always shoot for row 90 or there about. South of the speakers as you can't here them during the airshow anyway and a real pain the rest...
I have to admit I have not been a member continuously (military, life, kids, etc.) but my first EA fly in was Rockford, IL. 1962 or 63 with my dad. My member # is 25,582. I thought that was way big...
$80 a month and I don't get either. Must be HD as my guide dosn't even show the channel the web site says it is on.

We have over head radiant heat, keep it at 55 unless we are working. It makes thing warm to the touch in about 10 minutes and is very nice here in Northern Illinois, and not too terrible costly...
Jerry goto the Taylorcraft Foundation chat group. There are people there who will be glad to help and are very knowledgeable too.

Come on you guys, your supposed to be pilots. Do you allow for the wind during flight planing, does that chutest have power for a go around if he is short? You always have to jump up wind of the...
Well everyone has their preference but we like row 90 plus or minus a few. Just south of the speakers (quiet), no planes parked in front, smaller crowd, and close to the run up and take off for 36,...
