The Vintage camera us up. Looks good.
I’ve always liked Dubuque coming from the west or south. Especially if you can watch the T-6s come and go from their practice. Don’t know if they do that anymore. It’s a ways into town, but the...
Anybody actually use the EAA events app? How do you delete an item like a forum that you added to your schedule by mistake? Thanks.
One thing, about five years ago when they were doing major changes like the diagonal roads they had a facilities manager who took the time and effort to send an about monthly email on their progress....
EAA should not be used to send messages to politicians on any subject besides aviation and the association itself.
Excellent, Randy. And let’s keep it that way.

My father and I went to an air show when I was probably 9 or 10. I remember standing under the wing and looking in the door of a Cessna 150 and even then thinking “this isn’t very big” and wondering...
Surprised I haven’t seen comments on the new approach procedures this year.
I thought they worked quite well. I was a victim of the huge confusion of, I think, 2018, and it seemed this year they...
Interesting, didn’t know that. So, with the cheapest Sporty’s handheld you could use the cheapest stereo headset you could find at Walmart, and it would work better than a Bose aviation model? ...
 Thanks for that. The most straightforward explanation is most often the right one, without conjuring up conspiracies.
So what were the conflicting responses? Exactly who did they come from? I suspect the EAA response was reply #6 in this thread from an EAA official, and the CAF response was from a ramp mechanic...
WiFi seems to be working better this year. Good, strong, relatively fast link at the north end of the South 40.
We also haven’t heard from the friendly, dedicated volunteers who have managed the webcams in the past. Perhaps they’re gone so the process is less efficient.
Don’t badmouth the Packers. (Unless, of course, the local is badmouthing the Packers, which is always possible!)
Just saw the map. Don’t think that will help much with the issue skyfixer8 was talking about.
Seems like the yellow route will be boring for the tram volunteers. Unless they enjoy dodging clueless...
Has anybody actually read the Northwestern study? Did they specifically recommend eliminating the Green route? If so, did they state a reason? Perhaps I missed the discussion in an earlier thread....
Hope he was able to sell them. Should have, since the Aviators Club tickets are completely sold out for the week.
That’s a very good suggestion, and one you don’t see very often.
Thanks, Ron, for your dedication and patience with our questions. Another one: Is there a policy or specific decision when to start backfilling spaces in Vintage? Twice in the last four years I’ve...
PM sent.
A very good question. Also a pet peeve of mine. I’ve never seen any FAA rule or guidance on this. There may be no “right.”
But I’ve always thought the first pilot was being pretentious, rude...
Because they were pretty sure what would happen if they gave 100,000 enthusiasts any encouragement to show up anyway. I respect them for their decision.

We have had a C33 Debonair since 1989. We had a Warrior for two years and wanted something faster; luckily we found this Debonair available right on our field. It has an IO470K, and we are on the...
If you plan to attend for four days, it’s cheaper to buy a weekly pass. If you do that, you’re probably counted as having attended for seven days, further inflating the attendance numbers.
