Seems to have disappeared.
Thought I'd repeat my great experience at the Aviator's Club last year. It was a life saver for someone who dislikes the heat - great service, good food and an opportunity to meet and have a quiet...
Looks like the Chalets are still around.

Last year, we did IFR out of Oshkosh to Gary, Indiana to Battle Creek, MI (stopped at Duncan Aviation - great FBO!) and then to London, Ontario and then Toronto with customs in London, etc. etc....
Why would an executive search be a "waste" of money? Perhaps EAA should find the best possible CEO for th next 5 years or so. If Jack is that person, fine.
Why not the Spitfire?
If you're up for a B&B outside of town, in 2008 we landed at Appelton and stayed at the Green Fountain Inn in Wauseca.
It was recommended to us by another AirVenture visitor and turned out to be...
I use a Ram holder on a PanaVise suction mount.

I'm with Post #12. I used the EAA chalet for 3 days and would not have survived the heat without it. Met a lot of great people, enjoyed the food and watched the air show. My only complaints of air...
On Monday at AirVenture I needed to get something out my aircraft in the GAP area. A few hours later, I realized that I had lost the keys. Two small keys on a small key chain. Oh well, that's what...
My votes go to:

I have been flying since 2001 and an EAA member since 2008 or so, having joined just before my first AirVenture visit. I am also a COPA and AOPA member. And have recently discovered Forums (although...
I wholeheartedly agree with WeaverJ3Cub.
Time to move on.

Thank you EAA for providing a refuge from the heat at Airventure. Living in Calgary, we are not used to 100 degree weather and only the Aviators club provided a respite from the heat. I used it...
The HDG indicator in our DA40's G1000 went intermittent at Oshkosh. It would work for a moment, then X out. We were advised by Garmin, Diamond and a local avionics shop that it could be a faulty...
I vote for a round of "Barrett's Privateers" at Jay Honeck's party on Wednesday evening in the North 40.

Great idea and service.
But eaaradio.net doesn't work now. When does it come on line?
Marc
Flying DA40. Staying from Saturday noon to Thursday morning. No camping. No special status.
I am planning on arriving Saturday around noon. Where should I expect to to be directed to park the plane?
Thanks
