Hello,
I just got out of the service as a avionics tech and want to continue my career however I need to go to school and get my A&P. I was wondering if any A&Ps out there could tell me where...
Thank you. I'll keep this bookmarked and when I get there if I need some more help (sure I will) I'll post here again.
William, I'll see if that works. Thanks!
It happens when I open a new part file. If all I do is make a single line shouldn't I be able to make it a structural part?
Under the weldments tab I'm not able to make lines structural elements, everything is just grayed out.
The program was just downloaded yesterday so I doubt a have corrupted files. Any ideas?
I'm trying to follow the guidelines in this thread but I don't understand exactly how Weldments works in Solidworks. The Insert/Weldments tab is grayed out and I can't see to figure out why. Also...

Hello,
I've been reading and dreaming for years about building and flying my own plane but have always been thrown by the cost. I think I was spoiled early on when I got to ride in my friends RV-8...
First time poster, long time reader.
I'm now considering buying a portable GPS but having difficulty assessing the right option. I'm a VFR pilot and do most of my flying in class G,E,D airspace,...
The reason is the difficulty of the build.
The plans are old so I talked to the factory about updated ones and can buy them with a turn in.
I have flown from the back of a RV-8A. Was a great little ship but I do not have the cash for a RV.
Hello everyone.
>>> I've decided against this particular model due to the plans being rather unpolished and hard to read. I'm not a engineer, I want something straight forward, that is why I'm...
