Well, I logged here to read of all the people that took on BasicMed today. HUMM,,, no one but me or didn't I go back enough pages? Smooth sailing with my regular AME that I've seen for many years....
I had issues getting onto this forum site last night and again this morning using IE, Firefox on my laptop and yet today using my Android phone. Appears i just fixed my phone by clearing my phone...
Boy, done that hoop jumping myself. Not knowing your "history", as someone told me, I was not fighting a medical issue. I was fighting a govt "red tape" issue. FAA has thousands of medicals rolling...
Thanks for the reply Mike. I now see where you were going with that and agree 110% on that last sentence.
I'm curious as to why these 2 incapacitated pilots comes to indicate say goodbye to POBR2?
These 2 commercial pilots do 6 month medicals (IIRC) and one passes out and the other departs the world...
Come on out. Chapter 444 is hosting a Poker Run, Saturday morning at 38WI.
I don't want to be the only one out this breezy fall morning having fun.
Never did this before. Should be fun....

I know of a number of persons that have had problems with the Corvair. Mainly crank failures also one, now possibly two cam gear failures. Read and talk with as many persons as possible before...
Good catch Kurt, so please accept my apology for any confusion. C150L is the 150 I bought back in 94, got my PPL in and kept for 4.5 years of most always enjoyable flight time. I've kept that...
Good evening,
Perhaps some of you more crafty persons on this board can help me with something that's been kind of holding up part of the show here. We bought a new headliner from ACS for our...

Marty, I'm not looking for any markings in particular. I consider if they are there, but can operate just as well with out. Doubt I'd be disappointed if I came to your place.
Thanks KRW. I had seen that document. Didn't know it came from the FFA.gov site. By time I read it, I was well past that page and was not sure where it came from.
I have never seen the concrete...
I frequent grass strips and now, just too many times have heard conversations and opinions on the subject. The closest I have gathered, there are no regulations or requirements as to markings on...
Thanks for the reply. I have seen many interpretations on perimeter markings, including those you mentioned, barrels, painted boards, you name it. When coming into or moving around on one of these...
Sorry if this has been posted here elsewhere, but with all the time I spent searching the web last weekend, I've used up my monthly wasting valuable time on the web allowance. Hopefully someone can...
