There’s a good-sized line at camper registration, but nobody stacked up on the roadside any longer.
I’ve received several. Text OSHFUN and OSHALERT to 64600.
On Saturday it was dry and firm. There may have been a few isolated squishy spots, but otherwise in good shape. The farther out you get, the more the grass becomes field-like (vs lawn-like), but I...
I feel that. For the first time in the past 11 years, I’ve not been able to find a square inch of space between improved camping and the vintage fence. I ended up way way out near the expanded...

I have a 2015-model Mac. For quite some time now, they've been Intel based. MacOS offers a utility called Boot Camp which allows all recent Macs to be booted directly into Windows. MacOS walks you...
Safe travels! See you there!
Thanks for clarifying. I realize that there's a growing demand for "glamping" :)
I hope that the rates for those sites are helping you quickly recover the costs of installing them. Still a...
I received an answer from EAA. While this is the 2017 map, the area outlined in red includes the new improved camping sites. They'll be updating the map for 2018 soon.

In an EAA press release, they talked about adding 117 new improved camp sites (electric/water) to the grounds. Anybody know in which direction they're propagating? The map on the AV site is still...

Quick note: stainless and aluminum look a lot alike. No matter how hard you try, they won’t...
Completed the first day of the EAA SportAir Workshop for TIG welding. A fella learns a lot about himself when stuck behind a darkened mask for eight hours. This course had previously been taught at...
Also, I tend to be a "spontaneous poster". If it's on my mind now, I like to discuss it. If I'm at Airventure, for example, I'll share things that I notice on social media as soon as I see it. ...
May just be a sign of the times. I belong to several type clubs, and one of those forums sees almost no traffic. A couple of the others a bit more, but not much.
Social media plays a pretty...
