I've seen that post. That's one of several that got me seriously looking at trying to cnc route parts!
Also look into drilling. It's got a great material removal rate.

Okay... I have some experience doing this. I've bought plans for a CH-640. I'm going to CNC most of the parts out, predrilled, using solidworks. What little I've done matches the OP's...
