spent tet 67-68 as a loadmaster on C 130s in country. My wife did a tour of asia two years ago.
Think of the positives,it's always good to be able to check off part of the bucket list. I have bought several and have used the plane to check off trips I have on my bucket list.
I'm with EAA,I like there style,of course I'm also a member of AOPA.
What's the rule on alcohol consumption in the camp ground?
It works
Nice video,thanks for posting.
Looked like some aircraft where very tight, and some had plenty of room ,looks like the regular guests park their airplanes with enough room for the camping experience.
As a start they could count the daily tickets and subtract the weekly sales for a rough idea. Would probably take a few more volunteers.
Took your survey,some good questions.
Posted on the new thread. The more pilots that take the survey the better .
The survey ,only works if they listen to the posters. The food seems to be getting better, could use more fly bys and less aerobatics. Overall they seem to be adjusting .
Try a dealer who deals in marine woods.
Took the survey, hope they use the info.
The need to be accessible ,to the home front,is of most importance. Also good to be able to communicate with the home airfield,to farm any questions for those that could not attend.
Saving my lsa expo for jan. In Sebring Fla.
Looks like their trying to upgrade the food and choices. Getting better, healthy choices are not in abundance. Also does anyone realize ,that they do make caffeine free diet products?
Nice video, somehow you managed to keep the golf carts out of the picture.
Nice looking airplane wish you luck with it.
The elimination of the third class medical, will go a long way to creating new pilots and keeping older ones. Flying is not inexpensive ,and with the threat of loosing your medical,a lot of people...
Every year I see more families attending. Also notice many more women than in the past. The crowd still has a lot of old timers, which I actually enjoy talking to. A little more upgrade on the food...
Like the young eagles program. The program needs more pilots to donate their time to fly the young eagles. Love the look in the kids eyes after their first flight. Spread the word.
I use the stratus two with Foreflight ,looking to put the Garmin 330 es in the panel ,to meet the mandate.
Was very impressed with the sportsman 2+2 diesel. Always liked that aircraft, now I really like it.
I prefer to walk the show, transportation seemed to be running ok. I usually stay at Appleton ,this year did Green Bay and took the shuttle bus. Let off at the gate. Works for me.
