Awesome!
Nice! Congratulations!
For as long as it took AirVenture to get here, it was over in a flash. I can't believe that almost a week has gone since it was here.
Already looking forward to next year!
Me too. Didn't see the Commemorative Air Force tent either.
I agree! Having a background in military aviation maintenance and inspection, I truly enjoyed sitting back and watching my son learn some new skills and find some new interests. He really enjoyed...
Very nice! I will get some posted once I get through all of them. Might take a while! :D
Understandable, Jim. I have no doubt that the tram drivers do a great job and that the tram service is a valuable one. My only point is that if the tram driver were to get distracted, for any...
I think the trams should be put in that category as well, at least during the air show. Sitting by the Gee Bee on both Friday and Saturday, especially Saturday, I was amazed at how many near-misses...
Glenn,
My son and I saw your airplane at AirVenture, and it is magnificent! As were all of the other John Stahr paint jobs.
The daydreaming is in high gear today! Can't wait to get out there...
Perfect. Thanks!
Does anyone know if there are there any maps out there that depict where the restricted areas for the Thunderbirds shows?
Thanks!
Me too... Can't wait!
Me too, Bob!

I didn't mean strange in a weird sense.:| I meant strange as in it doesn't belong there! Personally, I love the Cub. As you said, "It's got everything you need in a plane..."
Absolutely right, Ted. Threat or non-threat? That is the REAL question. I have worked in many high-security areas and that would be the number one concern if a "strange" aircraft decided to land...
I was looking at those this morning too. They look awesome so far! Great job!
Here's one more that I didn't post earlier...

Thanks, George. You have some good shots too. I like the B-17. The prop blur and panning take a lot practice. For every good one that I have, there are probably a hundred bad ones. I find that it...
Thanks, Alex. They were not shot as panoramic images, that is just they way that they turned out after I cropped them. I thought it worked well to isolate the aircraft as the main focus of the...
Thanks, Rick! That is one of my favorites.
Thanks, Hal. My name is Ron, though. ;)
I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction as far as how photos are selected for various EAA publications. (i.e. Desktop calendars,...
Here are a few of my favorite captures from AirVenture this year. Any and all comments welcome and appreciated! If you click on the photos, it will take you to a larger version on my Flickr page...
