Have you gone this route? I started the process, but it was asking what school I was attending.
Can someone do a comparison of FreeCAD vs Alibre? Do we need a new thread, forum for alternatives to SW Student Edition?
Same here. Not found. I also went thru the EAA SW resource pages (kind of quickly), and could not find a good link.
There are now glasses that can correct for SOME types of color blindness.
Like someone else said, talk to the FAA about this, not us uninformed denizens of the internet.

This has happened twice now. Once last night and then again today. Add a new event to the EAA calendar and get a script error. Text below. When this happens it temporarily freezes the webpage and...

google earth allows you to measure areas. Click on the "ruler" in the tool bar, and then select :polygon". Select your units of measurement and go at it. Pretty straight forward.
Have you looked in your spam filter or reports to see if the email is getting blocked?
I am using an 8 or 9 year old Dell i5 laptop with Win 7 Enterprise. Started with 4GB RAM, upgraded to 8GB RAM because of other software. Runs fine, even with the 4GB, though it did/does need to...

Do you have SW 2017 installed?
I used the instructions from this thread to upgrade from 2017 to 2018. Read it all. I think I started at the link in post #6.
Note that the download is large....
The chapter that I belong to earned quite a few Young Eagle credits in 2017 which we need to use before the end of 2018. I was wondering what other chapters have used them for and if they ever sent...
Thanks Bill!
The example shown to me must have been modified, because I did not see the input for the outside/cold air and the and output for the cabin/warm air. I will try and get a better look...
While I agree that the 3600lbs sounds high, 1650lbs sounds low, since, I think, there are some 152's that exceed that.
Also, I think people may be stuck in the mindset of 'Light Sport Aircraft'...
Thanks for the update and link. How long do you think 'quite a while' is? Several years?, five years? Just wondering.
Anyone know anything about the exhaust, muffler, heat exchanger shown in the pics?
Has anyone gotten the Toolbox to load/install? I am running into the same problem as LSAguy104.
I had SW 2017 installed. Now trying to activate SW 2018 (I think), and I get the msg 'serial number expired'. I think I downloaded SW 2018 quite a while ago. Do I need to go thru the whole sign up...
Kind of a late reply (in more ways than one) to this thread.
We are a small Chapter at a small, short strip airport. We have been doing three breakfasts a year for quite a few years. I do not...
Not sure if how hard the ground freezes where you are at, but here in MN, I seen some t-hangars built with a 'floating' concrete floor. Big mistake, in the winter the floor rises and jams the doors....
Our Chapter just paid yearly dues and insurance. We did not get the hangar keeper insurance. I have not been real involved in this before and this is the first I have heard of hangar keeper...
Up until a few years ago our dues were $20/year. No family memberships and no life memberships. We changed to $30 individual and $40 family. Have had at most 3 family memberships. Total members a...
