Hi Warren.
The "Exploder" is the most active hangout for aerobatic pilots. It's gone through several incarnations over the years and is now hosted as a Google Group. Visit...
That's correct. If the event were advertised to the public it could be construed as an air show, which is a much *much* bigger deal to the FAA. There are other reasons as well, such as insurance...

Hi Ernie.
I agree, that information belongs on the IAC web site. We'll fix that oversight shortly and I'll post back here when it's done.

Hi Jesse.
You're right, it's difficult to find tailwheel airplanes for solo rental and there are ever fewer options for aerobatic models. I recommend getting in touch with the nearest IAC chapter...

1. Proposal B. The vertical 3x4 roll in Fig. 6 will challenge some aircraft but should be do-able.
2. Proposal D. The 1 1/2 roll + 5/8ths push-around may be hard to...
13-1: By way of background, this proposal only impacts the six figures that are permitted by Appendix 3 of the IAC Rule Book: 8.5.9.1 ("reverse teardrop"), 8.5.11.3, 8.5.12.3, 8.5.17.1 ("teardrop"),...
The proposed changes appear below. Use the 'Reply' button below to provide your feedback no later than Nov. 11, 2012.
