I used to buy oil there regularly, but the last couple of years it was almost the same price from my home fbo. Wasn’t worth the hassle or weight to carry it back in my RV-10.
I disagree with this statement. I spent ten years camping in Scholler before I moved to HBC. Camping in HBC next to your aircraft is much better than Scholler. I like the facilities better too.
I’ve received mine from the South Gate by Theater in the Woods or at HBC in the past. I suspect there are are locations too. I would check the map.
I see aprs while flying and nothing on the ground. This wasn’t an option in your poll.
It looks like the 2016 poster is still online. Any idea when the 2017 poster will be available?
Yes. Most will insure a project for about 1% of the coverage. Most will allow you to add flying coverage with a phone call. Any broker should be able to provide quotes. You can also bump your...
Same here.........
I've had pretty good luck changing routes when the weather isn't too bad and ATC doesn't appear to be busy.
i did get a chuckle coming home from OSH flying east over Lake Michigan. Another IFR...
look me up in HBC next week and I'll show you several aircraft that installed the Navworx unit in a few hours, and none of them used the transmon.
They are are pretty consistent with responding. They usually process requests the morning of the first business day after receiving the email request. This is one team of FAA'ers that have done...
Ouch! 22 hours for a job that shouldn't have taken more than a couple hours. Nothing like paying for his education. I'm enjoying my EAB more every day due to A&Ps billing excessive hours.

Last year's is available.........
Any update?
I was wondering the same. I usually print them and post all over where I work, which happens to be an airport.
I have an iPad mini and wingx. I got the mini because the normal iPads are too large to fit in my lap with the stick in my RV-10. I have to admit, I've only used it a couple times in flight. ...

Tmcquinn,
i have the Ads-600b in my RV-10 for several years now. I was an early adopter. It's a great product.
you don't need $300 worth of crimping tools to install it. You should be...
I would agree in a single pilot situation, adsb would be too tempting to look at during the arrival process. However, there are PICs that do strictly look out the window exclusively during arrival,...
Search for portable or pop up sun shade. There are quite a few products on the market.
I'll be happy to assist as well.

Shannon,
Todd answered most of your questions. The one thing he omitted, is that HBC was the Welcome Wagons vehicles that can drive you over to the Red Barn at Scholler to get supplies. You...
We've done it for years.
Last year there were a set of entrepreneurial teenagers charging $5 to mow a site.
It really depends on the equipment and/or adsb solution you've selected. My recommendation is to give the vendor or your friendly neighborhood avionics dealer a call.
the transponder passes the...
There are two versions. One for certified aircraft and one for EABs. The experimental unit is less expensive. The experimental unit had some startup issues. They are shipping now, but I don't...
