Can anyone give me a referral to qualified Sport Pilot Examiners - for Weight Shift Trike training within 100 miles of the Los Angeles area?

There's at least one LA-based instructor in our database that lists a weight-shift aircraft (an Air Creation Tanarg 912):

There are a lot of instructors listed in California, so you might find others in nearby cities as well.
