Kelly Johnson L-133

Just watched a documentary about yet another Kelly Johnson genius idea, from 1941-- the L-133. A jet-engined fighter capable of >mach 1. U.S. Military brass couldn't grasp & turned it down, so never got built. After the war he designed a weak version, the P-80. The L 133 was not only very ahead of it's time, it just plain looks cool. There is an awesome scratch-build opportunity here for someone (team?) to build a scale version, probably an under-mach 1 machine.
