The Senate version of HR 3708, which seeks to eliminate the requirement for a third class medical for certain aircraft operations, was introduced in the Senate today by Sen. John Boozman (R-AR), Sen. Jerry Moran (R-KS), and Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS).
The House version, introduced in December 2013, currently has 52 cosponsors.
