Questions about mounting Subaru EH99 engine

Hi folks:

I've got a thread on my PPG quad build:

and I've got some questions about mounting my engine. I've got a Subaru EH99 industrial engine:

I'm looking at a manufactured PPG and how they've mounted their engine. It looks like they are only mounting it by the holes in the back case cover and not using the mounting holes in the bottom of the engine:

Is this structurally sound? The other models I've seen all have the engine mounted by the bottom bolts to the PPG frame and the redrive unit either mounted to the back of the engine of the frame of the PPG.

Hi folks:

OK, I spoke with Ashton Brunner at http://www.greeneagleppg.com/models/ , and he said that he had difficulties with torque if the engine was mounted on the bottom. Does anybody know why that might be? Most of the other PPG/PPC engines I've seen are bottom mounted (or top if they are upside down).

I watched video the other day where the UL builder just welded the engine mount plate on top of a single 2 inch square tube. When the engine started you could seen that plate flex. To my thinking that was wrong. I may not have built a UL but I do build things and nothing has ever fell or broke yet.
