Very Slow Loading of Assemblies

Hi All,
I'm using SW Student 2019 downloaded in Dec 2019.
Parts load from memory very quickly.
Assemblies take a very long time (3 to 15 minutes) even for super simple two part assemblies.

If I open the component parts first, then open the assembly it opens very quickly. But if I try to open the assembly directly it takes forever to open and seems to get stuck on opening part 1.

Any help would be richly appreciated.

Resolved.
I seem to have fixed this issue. I opened the Options tab and reset all the options to default. Then hit save. It prompted if I wanted to allow changes to be made, I hit yes.
Is is now working properly again.

not completely applicable, but if you open 'lightweight', you still have visuals on parts you are not using, and can 'set to resolved' if you need to edit something, which is helpful for large assys and/or slow computers.
