I like having access to SolidWorks Electrical and hoping to climb the steep learning curve to evaluate whether I want to use it to help in the development and documentation of the electrical system for my RV-14. I believe that the MySolidWorks forums could be very helpful but I'm unable to get access. I lost the password that I had registered with and, when I tried to reset the password, I couldn't remember which email I'd used (think it could be a memory problem? ;))! Now, when I try to do a password reset, I get an error, likely because two different emails have tried to register under the same serial number. Now, I'm not sure how to get this corrected. A service request has been submitted, but, of course, I'm unable to log in to see any response! Any ideas/suggestions?

This is a little out of my area of expertise, but I do have a MySolidWorks account. Perhaps you could enter every email address that you may have used to register into this form: https://userapp.solidworks.com/pmf/ForgottenPassword/InitiateEmailRequest.html?locale=en and when you get an email to reset the password, create a new one.

Cory, sorry that I did not see your response and forgot that I had posted here about this. I contacted the reseller (don't remember the name) but they were able to help me correct this issue.

If you want to do electrical system design like connectors/wiring/etc, Solidworks is not the best choice. Try https://rapidharness.com/ instead.

What if you want to model your aircraft panel in 3D and integrate that with your electrical schematic so you can visualize layouts and spacing of instruments?
