Where would I look for a steering wheel type flight control made of wood? This is for a homebuilt project.
Something like that on a Curtis Pusher model, but smaller diameter.

Or make you own. It's not at all hard to laminate some nice plywood together to make a steering wheel--I have seen some very nice results with simple methods on homebuilt boats. I remember one example very clearly...a simple disk with three elliptical cutouts between the rim and the central hub and all the interior and exterior edges rounded off. Something like that, perhaps with one of the ellipses trimmed off to make a yoke shape, should work just fine.
