I've decided to put my FP-404 up for sale. I've had a lot of fun with it, but it's time for a change. This plane was the subject of articles in the February and March 2017 issues of Kitplanes magazine. Only 2gph, cheap flying!

I really like how your exhaust is tucked up and out of sight. i would like to see pics of this system or setup.

A winning bid and getting paid are miles apart.

I thought it sold, too, but the winning bidder seems to have disappeared.

Happens all the time on ebay. The more expensive the item, the harder it is to complete the transaction.

Yeah, I just "sold' something on ebay. Non-paying bidder. As part of all that, I found out ebay has changed their policies and no longer allow sellers to leave anything but positive feedback for buyers. Incredible. No wonder so many non-paying bidders now, and those who think they can just "cancel" bids and auction wins.

BTW, that's a really nice looking plane at a good price.

Yes, I did. Relisted it on ebay, the high (and only) bidder was enthusiastic, so much so that he messaged me 10 minutes after the auction ended asking when he could pick it up. So now I have hangar space for the Starduster, which I hope to fly home next week if the weather cooperates.

Looks like this Fisher FP404 is coming to the UK now  I am currently arranging a Container for it to be shipped from NY 13815 to our reassembly point in the UK.

Does anyone know a competent engineer in the NY 13815 Area who could assist in the dismantle of this FP404 so we can get it loaded into a 20ft Shipping container.
