I assume this could be from an early aircraft but not sure so wonder if anyone recognizes it? It has four 1/4" connections with four detents for "off" and three sources. The control knob contains a feathered arrow for valve orientation and the only other marking is a diamond at the outlet. As you can see in the photo, it does wear some minor surface oxidation which gives it character just like the owner. I acquired it from a retired automotive mechanic friend who, as far I know, was not into aviation. If it is from an aircraft, I will then need to find someone who needs it for a specific restoration project because I have stored it long enough.

Many vintage aircraft use regular industrial fuel valves, so it's possible it came from a plane, but it's just as possible it's off a tractor or something.
None one I recognize.

You are not unkind but very helpful, I think! Which aircraft model was powered by steam, in what year and did it burn coal or wood?
