Last Friday I drove down to Sevierville, Tennessee to visit the Tennessee Museum of Aviation and see some of their collection fly for their Living History Day on Saturday. The day started off with a murky gray overcast, but by noon the clouds had parted and the sun was shining brightly. It was a great event. If you have never been to the museum, I highly recommend it. Here are some of my photos from the day. As luck would have it, both my camera batteries died before the P-47s finished flying (which was my primary reason for going - DOH!). I had neglected to charge them at the hotel on Friday night after hearing about the accident in Reno. In any case, here are the photos...

Excellent Zack!! I was at that airport a couple of years ago, but was in town for a wedding and didn't have any time to make the museum. Very cool to see them fly the airplanes on a nice day! Great pics...
