Thank you for posting this, Zack, although I'm a bit surprised that no one has responded yet. Perhaps most responses are now posted directly on Facebook etc.

Those of us who have been following the www.airpowersquadron.org (http://www.airpowersquadron.org) website have known about this (planned) visit for several months now. In fact that website is much more specific than the EAA announcement. At this stage, it seems the B-24 is due to arrive at Oshkosh on Mon. 29 and stay on the ground (Plaza) all through the convention. The B-29 is due to fly from Appleton up to Thurs. 1, and then be on the ground (Plaza) until the end of the convention. If so, most people will have only one opportunity to see them fly (I'm not talking about high-altitude fly-overs during the rides from Appleton). One would hope the announcement is updated when the scheduled arrival times become known, so those of us who like to see flying aircraft will be on the crowdline in time.

But it is good news that they are returning, indeed.

Speaking of the B-29 - the CAF's Steve Buss and Brad Pilgrim will be giving a webinar presentation about flying the B-29 tomorrow evening. You can sign up for it here: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/431583746.
