Borrowed my friends Go-Pro and attached it the the horizontal stab of my "new to me" One Design DR-107.

I have about 4 hours in the airplane as of this video. I know there are many mistakes in my flying, but having a ton of fun.

Enjoy,

Russell

Awesome!! I was thinking about doing the same thing with my Go-Pro.. How did you mount it on the outside of your plane?

Hello All,

Planning on starting in the Sportsman category.

I attached the camera using two #8 machine screws that hold the horizontal stab fairing on. Those two screws went through 1/2 of the tube clamp device that came with the Go-Pro. I was a little unsure if it would hold, but it is quite a lightweight assembly. Didn't move a cm. I might find a way to diagonally support it also, that would reduce some of the shaking of the camera. Ahhh another excuse to go fly!!
