Is there anybody that would be interested in flight training in a Cessna T-50? I bought one a few months back and I am looking for a good excuse to fly it more often.

Great choice of airplanes - that's what I grew up flying!

Where are you based?

Sorry, I am based in Brunswick, Maine but am willing to travel if there is enough intrest to make it worth while. So, if there is a group of folks that want to get a muti-engine, ATP rating or just want to fly for fun, we might be able to work something out.

Well, I am based in Nairobi, Kenya at the moment but get back to visit family in Massachusetts fairly often and I'd be very interested. I take it you are a multi-engine instructor? Would you consider a low-time pilot without previous multi-engine experience?

This is one of the coolest thing I've seen on here in quite a while. While I'm not in a position to do it right now, the Bamboo Bomber is a plane I'd like to get some time in, perhaps even own one day.

Whose airplane did you acquire? I hate to admit that ours spends way too much time in her hanger. Always fun to fly and there always seems to be an airshow wherever you land.

Low time is not a problem. If you have some tailwheel time it would be helpful. The T-50 is probably the nicest flying airplane Cessna ever built. That being said, you will get a workout with one engine failed.

I picked up Art Banko's T-50 in Everett, WA and flew it to Maine. With the price of fuel all the toys spend too much time sleeping so I'm seeing if there is enough interest to make it worthwhile for the additional insurance, etc..

Very nice. I bought a pair of winter fronts from Art for my plane about the time it was finished. There is a nice video of the first flight on Youtube.

I have a handful of Bamboo Bomber hours from when my brother owned N66671. It is now owned by my friend Terry Sullivan in Shreveport, LA. Checkout his site at www.cessnat50.org.
