We are flying in Wednesday in a '46 Ercoupe, camping in Vintage. Due to the lack of payload, our stuff will be arriving in another aircraft that is camping in the North 40. Is there an issue with bringing our bags and tent through the gates. The rules state no oversized backpacks, will they have an issue with a couple duffel bags and a tent?

No, not a problem - those rules are more about walk-in visitors, not camping gear, and wouldn't apply in your case as you actually wouldn't be going through a gate.

If the other airplane is in the North 40, you won't need to pass through a gate to get things to the Vintage area.

[like what Hal just said]

Sorry to sneak in ahead of you, Adam! (Adam and I were discussing this question in the same room, but neither of us knew that the other one was typing an answer...!)

I always thought of the portal between where the Red Tram turns around and the N40'ers register as a gate because we are always asked to show our wristbands when coming in from the N40.
